A blow-fill operation in Penang, Malaysia, required to blow sand 600 to 800 m³/h and discharge to 1000-1500 meters, and the total filling capacity was 2 million cubic meters. The customer had a  sand transporting ship with belt sand unloading system, he required a sand suction and dredging scheme which is suitable for the existing sand transporting ship. The sand particles were coarse sand whose diameter were 3.0mm-5.0mm, this required sand pump machine with good wear resistance and long life.
According to the customer’s construction requirements and similar experience in sand-filling and reclamation, OCEAN Pump engineers recommended to use the powerful dredge pump 500PNS-60.

In combination with customer’s construction requirements, especially the sand transporting method, OCEAN Pump engineers proposed to use a funnel-filling method. The customer required to install a funnel-shaped sand pool near the construction site, use a large-flow water pump to fill the funnel sand pool with water, the sand was discharged into the funnel sand pool from sand transporting ship to form a uniform mortar, which is pumped by the powerful dredge pump 500PNS-60 for long-distance transporting and filling. The customer visited the funnel-type construction site, studied the working process sincerely, finally selected the construction plan provided by OCEAN Pump.
The powerful dredge pump 500PNS-60 was delivered to Malaysia in February 2017. After installation, the on-site running test was operated for 1 week. The sand output was 750-800m³/h, and the conveying distance was over 1600m. The customer is satisfied with the powerful dredge pump. The customer’s project began in March 2017, the sand dredge pump worked 14 hours a day, sand blowing amount was about 10,000m³, the whole project was completed in 3 months. The customer was very satisfied with the construction progress. Then the customer checked the impeller, guard plate and pump casing for wear. It was found that only the front panel was worn more, other parts could be reused. The wear resistance of the powerful dredge pump material was very good. The customer ordered another powerful dredge pump for a new blow-filling project.

Sub Dewatering Pump was Delivered to Hunan for Mud Extracting

Sub dewatering pump is also called submersible sediment pump which puts the electrical motor and mechanical pump on the same axis. The bottom of the submersible sediment pump body is equipped with a stirring impeller, which can stir the deposited sludge to form a turbulent flow and achieve high concentration transportation. The sub dewatering pump can be directly submerged into water, eliminating the step of pouring water, so the operation is relatively simple. One customer from Hunan signed a local sludge treatment project. There are 14 sludge pools which are 8 m deep, 5 m long and 5 m wide. The sludge contains a small amount of sand. The required discharge distance is 150 m and sediment capacity is 20 m³/h. When contacted OCEAN Pump engineers, the customer requested the sand pump machine should has the features of good wear resistance and convenient operation. The submersible sediment pumps were delivered to the customer’s designated working site on August 14th, 2019. The next day, the workers started to carry out running test. One of the sludge pools’ mud concentration is about 60% which is a little higher, so the customer used high pressure water to impact the mud to improve sludge fluidity. After one hours’ running, the extracted sludge concentration was 40%, and there was no blockage. The sub dewatering pump fully meets the customer’s requirements. Therefore, the customer ordered another 4 sets sub dewatering pumps to improve the working efficiency.

Sand gravel dredging pump is mainly used for extracting and transporting large particles whose diameter is too big to be pumped by general sand pump machine. 14 inch Sediment Removal Pump was Delivered to Jiangsu for River Dredging

Hydraulic submersible sediment pump is the new sediment pump type which is developed and designed by Tai’an Ocean Pump Co., Ltd. Hydraulic submersible sediment pump can be driven by a hydraulic power station or the hydraulic system of the excavator. It is suitable for urban rivers, lake and pond dredging, and can also be equipped with two or three sets of side agitators according to construction requirements. The side agitators can stir the hard sediment and increase the transportation concentration. The hydraulic sediment pump casing and impeller can be customized when there is much garbage in the river or lake to guarantee passibility.

Hydraulic Submersible Sediment Pump Selection Overview

One customer from Gansu undertook a river cleanup project. The water depth is about 2 meters, the sand layer is relatively hard, the discharge distance is about 200 meters. Previously, the customer dug sand with excavators, then transported by vehicles. However, this method was not only inefficient, but also had a relatively large pollution to the surrounding environment, and there were many complaints from surrounding residents. Electric Sand Suction Pump was Delivered to Fujian for Long-distance Sand Conveying

Electric sand suction pump is a kind of powerful sand pump machine which is driven by electric motor. This electric sand suction pump is suitable for inland river dredging, coastal embanking, coal mining, power plants and other enterprises to transport solid particles containing slurry, medium particles up to 50-80 mm.
