Sub Dewatering Pump was Delivered to Hunan for Mud Extracting

Sub dewatering pump is also called submersible sediment pump which puts the electrical motor and mechanical pump on the same axis. The bottom of the submersible sediment pump body is equipped with a stirring impeller, which can stir the deposited sludge to form a turbulent flow and achieve high concentration transportation. The sub dewatering pump can be directly submerged into water, eliminating the step of pouring water, so the operation is relatively simple. One customer from Hunan signed a local sludge treatment project. There are 14 sludge pools which are 8 m deep, 5 m long and 5 m wide. The sludge contains a small amount of sand. The required discharge distance is 150 m and sediment capacity is 20 m³/h. When contacted OCEAN Pump engineers, the customer requested the sand pump machine should has the features of good wear resistance and convenient operation. Our engineers recommended the sub dewatering pump.

After studying the submersible slurry pump and watching the on-site using video, the customer finally approved the plan provided by OCEAN Pump and signed purchase contract for 2 sets submersible slurry pumps.
The submersible sediment pumps were delivered to the customer’s designated working site on August 14th, 2019. The next day, the workers started to carry out running test. One of the sludge pools’ mud concentration is about 60% which is a little higher, so the customer used high pressure water to impact the mud to improve sludge fluidity. After one hours’ running, the extracted sludge concentration was 40%, and there was no blockage. The sub dewatering pump fully meets the customer’s requirements. Therefore, the customer ordered another 4 sets sub dewatering pumps to improve the working efficiency.

Submersible sewage pump is equipped with the automatic stirring device which can produces a strong stirring force with the rotation of the motor shaft. The precipitate in the waste water is stirred into suspended solids and sucked in the submersible sewage pump. The submersible sewage pump improves the capacity of anti-blocking and sewage discharge ability. It completes the water draining, sewage discharge, and sediment clearing. The main components of submersible sewage pump are the impeller, pump body, and submersible system unit. It puts the electrical motor and mechanical pump on the same axis and can suck surface residual sewage efficiently. In June 2019, we got a very clear inquiry with specified sewage pumping data. The customer wanted the submersible dewaterintg pump to suck the sewage water from a small tank. This customer is an engineer at a Singapore Water Treatment Company. He wanted two models of submersible dewatering pumps, one model has a flow rate of around 20 cubic meters per hour, the head is 10 meters, the outlet diameter is 50 mm. The other one has the flow rate 40 cubic meters per hour, the outlet diameter is 65 mm. He also required an industrial voltage frequency of 400 V, 50 HZ. According to the customer’s request, we selected two models for the customer.

We provided detailed submersible sewage pump parameters and pictures to the engineer, the engineer was very satisfied with our parameters. After communication, each sand pump machine needed to be equipped with 8 meters cable and an elbow. After the discussion, the procurement department of the company contacted us and ordered 20 units each model. The total were 40 units. We successfully tested every submersible sewage pump, each one was packed in a small wooden box. In order to facilitate transportation, we put all the small wooden boxes into a big wooden box.
