Small dredging equipment, also known as sand suction dredger, is the powerful equipment to excavate underwater sand, slurry or gravel from different locations. It is widely used for sand dredging, mud dredging, port building and deepening, the sand and mud is conveying and discharging by pipeline and floater.

A new designed 6 inch small dredging equipment finished production and loading container this week. This custom sand suction dredger is different from the small sand dredge we produced before. In the process of discussing with the customer, we knew customer will use this dredger for holiday village construction in the sea offshore area of Maldives. So he emphasized the noise control of engine and anti-corrosion function of this portable dredger body. According to the requirement, we added engine sound proof cover to control the noise when engine running. And also 3 layers rust preventing paint were coated to for the sand dredger body to protect from water corrosion.

The normally delivery time of this sand dredger is 25 days. Because the customer was hurry for the this sand suction dredger, we finished this dredger within 20 days in advance. We took video and all the details photos of dredger testing sent to customer before container loading . We sorted the pictures and videos out to manual. which will be used for guide customer in dredge machine operation. The customer is very satisfied with this portable dredger job. He made the final payment ahead of loading date. This 6 inch small dredging equipment totally can be loaded in one 20 foot container with pipeline and floaters .

Now this sand suction dredger was on the way to Mali port, Maldives, when it start to work, we will make some work video for more customers reference.

Dredger parts was ready for Nigeria Customer

Dredger parts like sand pump, water pump, worm reducer, propeller and rubber hose are the important components of dredger. All of these dredger parts are manufactured with strict process and equipment. Ocean Pump is the professional sand pump, slurry pump and dredger designer and manufacturer, it provides one stop solution for all sand pump and dredger requirements.

The customer from Nigeria sent us inquiry about dredger parts for his own designed dredger body in December 2016. The designing and manufacturing of sand dredger is the professional and complex work because dredger is the integrated platform for sand suction, transport and discharge. Our engineers discussed and analyzed the inquiry with the customer for 2 weeks, the scheme was composed by three kind of dredgers:

1. The master dredger for sand suction.
2. The relaying dredger to transport sand for long distance.
3. The shoreline discharge dredger for delivery sand to land.

We cooperated with each other for scheme planning and designing, he constructed the dredger body locally,  we manufactured all dredger parts for him.  We had engaged in such projects, so this project was running smoothly.

According to our engineer’s experience and mature technology, we designed, manufactured and sourced suitable pumps, winches, worm reducer, rubber hoses and propeller for the project.

      (1) Sand pump is used for suck sand on dredger.
      (2) Water pump is to supply high pressure water pump to jet sand up to increase efficiency of sand suction.
      (3) Winch is used on master dredger and shoreline dredger, to drag and lifting the suction hose and suction head.
      (4) Worm reducer is used on sand transport boat, to Control the bottom door open and off.
      (5) Propeller is the dredger navigation equipment.
      (6) Rubber hose is used to suck sand or jetting water into sand.

It took us about 1 month to finish all ordered dredger parts, now they were finished packaging and was ready for delivery. Our customer applied Form M for SONCAP certification from Nigeria Government, which will be helpful to shipment.

Sand dredger equipment was shipped to Nigeria today. All the equipment and dredger parts were ordered by our long term partner who began the cooperation with us from 2014.

The package list  included sand pump,  dredger parts, sand pump engine, rubber hose, winch, propeller, connector ( also called worm speed reducer), steel rope, etc. Because this customer is a professional dredger constructor and wholesaler, he only needs these parts to assemble them to be master dredger, transporter, shoreline dredger (sometimes is called discharger) and others after the sand dredger equipment arrived his workshop.

He was not familiar with sand dredger installation and maintenance when he began business with us,  He placed some trail orders like simple sand pump, rubber hose and other spare parts. After 3 successful orders, he trusted us for our reliable good product quality, professional technical support and service. His order changed from several pumps to one 20 foot container and 40 foot high container now.

Small sand pump dredger （10 inch）made by  OCEAN Pump was successfully run in  Nigeria.

Our Nigerian customer visited our factory for detailed requirement negotiation on July 22nd 2016. He wanted to order a small sand pump dredger to suck sand in a small lake of Port Harcourt with good return on investment, easy to operate and longer life span. After our happy communication and discussion, he ordered a 10 inch small sand pump dredger according his requirements and budget and pay the deposit at once. 

After 1 month intensive designing and manufacturing, the sand dredger was finished and passed the quality checking, our customer came back to our factory to verify the sand pump ship and help directing the container loading. He was very satisfied with the finished dredger.

Jet sand suction dredger

Jet sand suction dredger is mainly used for river , lake or sea dredging, sand mining project, reclaim land from the sea. This dredger use high impact pressure of water to impact the bottom of sand layer, the sand splashing around the suction head. so the sand pump can suck sand material easily and efficiently, very suitable for the loose sand bed.

Jet sand suction dredger is composed mainly of high pressure water pump and sand suction pump. 
The dredger is detachable  so it can be loaded into the  container and easily transported to any location. The jet sand suction dredger is equipped with self-propelled equipment to push it running.

The dredger finish the entire work by impacting and sucking.  The high pressure water pump is used to jet and impact the sand layer bottom,   and splashing the sand around the suction head, then sand suction pump will suck the splashed sand from the suction hose to the designated position. All the working operation can be operated in control cabinet by one person.
