Dredger parts was ready for Nigeria Customer

Dredger parts like sand pump, water pump, worm reducer, propeller and rubber hose are the important components of dredger. All of these dredger parts are manufactured with strict process and equipment. Ocean Pump is the professional sand pump, slurry pump and dredger designer and manufacturer, it provides one stop solution for all sand pump and dredger requirements.

The customer from Nigeria sent us inquiry about dredger parts for his own designed dredger body in December 2016. The designing and manufacturing of sand dredger is the professional and complex work because dredger is the integrated platform for sand suction, transport and discharge. Our engineers discussed and analyzed the inquiry with the customer for 2 weeks, the scheme was composed by three kind of dredgers:

1. The master dredger for sand suction.
2. The relaying dredger to transport sand for long distance.
3. The shoreline discharge dredger for delivery sand to land.

We cooperated with each other for scheme planning and designing, he constructed the dredger body locally,  we manufactured all dredger parts for him.  We had engaged in such projects, so this project was running smoothly.

According to our engineer’s experience and mature technology, we designed, manufactured and sourced suitable pumps, winches, worm reducer, rubber hoses and propeller for the project.

      (1) Sand pump is used for suck sand on dredger.
      (2) Water pump is to supply high pressure water pump to jet sand up to increase efficiency of sand suction.
      (3) Winch is used on master dredger and shoreline dredger, to drag and lifting the suction hose and suction head.
      (4) Worm reducer is used on sand transport boat, to Control the bottom door open and off.
      (5) Propeller is the dredger navigation equipment.
      (6) Rubber hose is used to suck sand or jetting water into sand.

It took us about 1 month to finish all ordered dredger parts, now they were finished packaging and was ready for delivery. Our customer applied Form M for SONCAP certification from Nigeria Government, which will be helpful to shipment.

High concentration centrifugal mine slurry pump is horizontal, single stage and double casing pump. The mine slurry pump is innovative in the design of structure and hydraulic performance. Over-Flow components are made of abrasion resistant high chromium alloy, it has the characteristics of high efficiency, energy saving, wear-resisting and reliable running etc.

4. Adopt the thin oil lubrication metric bearings with reasonable set of lubrication. Cooling system to ensure that the bearings run at low temperature.

5. With special treatment, the centrifugal mine slurry pump  can be used the corrosion working conditions like seawater ash ,seawater and salt spray.

6.Within the allowable pressure range, the pump  can be used in multiple stages series connection .with allows maximum working pressure for 3.6Mpa.

Ship sand pump (also called marine sand pump, boat sand pump or dredger pump) is our main product which is widely equipped on sand dredgers. 

Our Indian partner is specialized in various sand dredger production. He sent us inquiry about economical and wear  resistant dredge pump to fit their sand dredgers in February 2017. His requirement about the marine sand pump is as followed: 

   1.  pump flow is 900-1400m3/h with solid percent of sand about 20% ;

   2. The sand is very abrasive coarse;

    3. horizontal pumping distance up to 750m but no slope or gradient .

High wear resistant sand discharge pipe

Product Description

Sand discharge pipe is made of high density polyethylene in addition with a small amount of antioxidants, anti-UV absorbent and pigments. It is especially suitable for sand slurry pumping.

High wear resistant  sand discharge pipe have unique features for a long life span, corrosion free, abrasion resistance, low maintenance performance even in the sea, lake and other liquid bodies.  High density sand discharge pipes are fitted with welded stub-ends&steel flanges. It’s made from virgin compounded materials for high performance. 

Quantity of ultrahigh wear-resisting molecular weight is more than two million. Abrasion index is very small. The  abrasive resistance is 6.6 times than ordinary alloy steel, 27.3 times that of stainless steel, 4-7 times 17.9 times that of phenolic resin, 6. 4 times that of polyethylene.

Sand discharge pipe Features 

1.Sand discharge pipe has ultrahigh shock resistance. It accords with standard of GB1843. It has the best impact toughness value in existing engineering plastics.

2.Sand discharge pipe has good property of corrosion resistance. It can prevent eroding from chemicals and withstand hydrochloric acid with less than 80% concentration.

3.Good self lubricity. Its surface is non-cohesive and non-scaling. It can’t form dirt in the medium with PH value of 9 or above.

4.Good low temperature resistance for – 50°C to -80°C.

5.Good cracking resistance. It has best property of environmental stress resistance. Environmental stress cracking resistance is above 4000h (above 2 times of PE100).

6.Installation is very simple. Specific gravity is 1/8 of steel pipe.
